OK, I have made my decision!!!

   I will be a Thirty-One Gifts consultant. I am truly honored to have a choice to join an AWESOME company! Where they are truly GOD LEAD and I know this is evident because of the blessings God has bestowed on this company are tremendous. As a result of those blessings they are able to compensate their consultants in huge ways through bonuses and the such! Yes, I am nervous and scared! But God brought this company to me and God WILL get me through it! I have been exposed to other Direct Sales companies and have yet to see one that I have this much faith in AND absolutely love their products.

     So now I wait, due to a hiring freeze (that HO prayed very hard about), to join. Should be in August and could possibly be sooner. They are inviting the individuals to join from their wait-list in waves and it depends on when I signed up on that wait list! The companies growth was so huge, at the beginning of the year, that they had to take a step back and prepare for this huge growth.  This was the sacrifice HO (home office) chose with God's guidance!  Today was the first day that the first wave of ladies are able to join, please join me as I pray that this transition is a smooth one for everyone involved!

     I will post more about an opening show at a later time! I am looking forward to seeing where God takes me while working for this company! Whether it is patience, humbleness and more! Possibilities are endless!

Loving Photoshop CS5 extended...  It was exciting to see the results once I was finished.

We are currently updating our master bathroom.  I am "still" in the process of sanding all the cabinet doors to the natural wood color.  I had to strip all the paint that was on them.  There were about three colors including the primer.  The second color, a strange blue color, has been hard to get off.  There are three items done so far, including two drawers.  There are still five more doors to do, the good thing is that it is only the middle parts of them.  So should not take long.  Although, there are grooves in them so it may take longer than I would like.  In the meantime, we are doing the walls for now; mudding areas of them and getting them prepared for paint.  We had a small scare of mold... behind the toilet.  Turned out it isn't.  Which is very good!  Here is an example of the colors... Antique White for the walls and ultra pure white for the trim.  The darker brown is close to what the cabinets will be stained as: American Chestnut is the actual name.  The floor is a honey wood color, hopefully I got it close to it...  So this is what it should look like, however, I will be posting the actual before and after pics!

Learning New Crafts

I inherited some of my grandmother's cross stitching and embroidery stuff last year!

The pictures really do not do justice to what is in the suitcase.  There are several more items that are not in these pictures.  Including the item I completed:

Took me a little while to complete this.  Mainly because I was doing other stuff too.  However, I finally finished it early this morning.  So I have officially finished my first cross stitch project ever.  The cross stitch seemed fairly easy.  I am sure that is because the design was already there for me along with where to put the colors.  I did have to adjust the colors on this item I finished because it is so old that the brand of colors it gave does not exist anymore.  So I adjusted the colors to the modernized embroidery colors available today. 

My next item will be embroidering... I am wanting to see the difference and if I will like doing either one.  So I will post another item when I get it finished in the future!  Be looking forward to seeing it!

~ New Beginnings ~

     For years, I have bitten my nails out of stress and nervousness.  Never seemed to fail, I would bite them and pick at them until they bled and hurt.  So, I would get the acrylic nails to keep from biting them.  It helped, but only made my nails more brittle in the process.   This has been a never ended circle of events for many many years now.

However, all of that has changed!  Hooray!!!

     I have stopped biting my nails for exactly a month yesterday!  Yeah!   I have not even been tempted to bite them, as if God has taken it away from me!  Going to take a long time for them to recover after YEARS of biting and fake nails. Over 30 years!  I am using Nail Magic to help this recovery along, supposed to be the best!  Although, all the sanding and paint remover activities lately is surely not helping!  But, this will not last long.  I am truly proud of myself.  This is a true sign that I have reached a new level of healing from previous tragic history.

     I will keep everyone posted on the process of my nails healing over the next year!  So, be looking for updates and pictures!!  I could always use your prayers in the process.
